The SMA Sunny Boy 4.0 single-phase inverter is equipped with the service Smart Connected, which allows SMA to analyze the operation of the inverter and detect irregularities so that faults can be corrected more quickly. The prerequisite is that the installation is logged into Sunny Portal and SMA Smart Connected.
The SMA Sunny Boy 4.0 has 2 MPP Trackers that operate independently of each other, minimizing shadowing from affecting the rest of the set. Moreover, it weighs only 16 kilograms, making it very easy to install yourself. This SMA inverter has no fans and no transformer and is therefore whisper quiet.
